Bruthen Club Projects - 2016

Since the re-launch of the Lions Club of Bruthen Inc in December 2014 the club has grown from 2 to 12 members and several volunteers who assist the club activities on a regular basis.  As our membership grows it brings and encourages new ideas, new energy and new vision.

2015 was a year of club membership growth and consolidation together with networking, research and development of possible local community projects for our club.

The Bruthen Inn is our "home" and we meet in the Retro Room on the 2nd Monday of each month for dinner (optional) and business, and 4th Monday of each month for an informal social gathering at the Bruthen Inn.  We are enjoy other regular social get-to-gethers to enjoy each others company and to strengthen friendships.

With the acquirement of the donut making equipment our club members regular participate in fundraising activities such as the Bruthen Community Markets and are pleased to be invited by local community groups and special event organisers to participate as a fundraiser for our club.

In addition to the donut sales we hold 2 big raffles annually and a special "Christmas in July" fundraising Dinner in July each year.

Listed below is an overview of the outcome for our local community so far this year:
